Waiting for Rain
The Little Rann of Kutch is an other-worldly experience.
It was a place where you felt the need to whisper.
Talking normally almost felt like a whisper when it reached our ears. Sound evaporates in the wide openness.
When our driver cut the jeep engine all you could hear was the hissing in your ears.

Fascinating image, John…the starkness and quiet reminds me of a January morning I spent out at the Great Salt Lake in Utah…equally stark and quiet…almost disturbingly so, but not quite….
