A new week of images starts with a return visit to the workshop of furniture makers, AD Livingston.
All the images this week show a further and developing approach to image making; an approach that began with my views of Indian street traders that commenced on 25 February. All the photos for the coming week exhibit the desire on my part to push each image much further than I have in the past. The effectiveness or otherwise of this will become apparent as each day’s image is posted.
There is nothing revolutionary here, but each will be concerned with the quality of light and shade, the tonal range and the quality of the coloration.
This picture is certainly not what came out of the camera and though it has weaknesses, such as the excessive reflection off the table top, it marks a step towards taking a more determined creative control of image making. As always yours views and comments are most welcome.
