Glasgow Central Station is the northern terminal of the West Coast Mainline which runs the 400 miles to London Euston. The station was opened in 1879 by the Caledonian Railway. I discovered only a few days ago that there are 90 minute conducted tours of the station. That might be interesting!

Apparently the station is used by 38 million people each year.
