Woodland Glade
The camera struggles in conditions like this where the gloomy forest is lit by brilliant patches of sunlight, so it’s a balancing act to contain the light while retaining detail in the shadows. I always think that this kind of location can never be fully rendered as it’s actually seen, because the dynamic range of the light is too great. Anyway, this is an approximation of the experience of being there. You will have to add the whispering of the wind through the trees, the call of a crow, and the smell of damp earth, yourselves in order to experience the full impact.
If you wait quietly you might catch sight of a red squirrel.
Very rich…wonderful.
Thanks, Scott…..and very green!
