Two Bikes
You take a shot like this for one reason, and then you discover another reason for it when it comes to processing. The number of times I take a picture and don’t really notice what’s actually there…..
I liked the way the tree framed the view and I placed the bike carefully in the composition. The second bike only made its presence felt after I looked more closely. I like the link they create across the picture space. The background is rather busy with too many light areas though, so it’s not a perfect picture.
I like the framing and it is something I keep reminding myself of doing. Unfortunately, on my small screen the bike in the background is almost lost.
Oh, sorry Allen, though I expect you can enlarge it on the screen…..I forget, as I work on a 27 inch iMac that one of my sons bought for me..!!! …..so much real estate!
No problem. A 27 inch screen would be difficult to put into a carry on bag. We have to live with limitations. Just an aside, my name is actually Tim Allen. Too common for a user name and too associated with an actor who has the same name. In Asia I’m used to having people call me Allen. However, Tim would be fine.
Hi Tim, good to meet you….and sorry I got it wrong.
