A Forgotten Corner

A Forgotten Corner

Wandering the back lanes you come unexpectedly upon people and often you are surprised at how carefully they look after their small courtyards. You also come up against their detritus but not usually as colour coordinated as this scene. Photo taken last November in Udaipur, Rajasthan.

  1. Detritus is one of my most favorite words, and I’m so glad when I can use it. This image is really great. The colors, the items almost arranged, but not.

    • Yup, there’s a synergy here where all the elements have this casual degree of association that confirm that somewhere down the line we are talking aesthetics….

      Thanks Laurie..
