A pleasant evening might be enhanced by having a quiet drink under the bandstand……..and why not?
No photographers were harmed in the making of this image!
Quite an image! Glad you weren’t hurt!
Thanks Debi……me too!
Strong image. How did you get him to pose?
It was either my magnetic personality or perhaps I just said ‘do you mind if I take your photo?’
The natives hereabouts are really friendly, even when p*ssed!
Of course it was your personality – you loving, jovial person.
Naa! I have become the archetypal grumpy old man…..
No Ho Ho Ho?
Maybe He He He?
More likely Bah Bah Bah?
Forgot to include:
I saw an ad for Santa Clauses – if course you are interested. Ho Ho Ho!
I think I know when to quit – my hands are up.
Sorry Tim it was just my usual posturing and posing……..happy holiday preparations to you and yours.
Actually my Mother died yesterday. She was 98. It was expected but it still leaves you feeling the void. So spent the day making the necessary arrangements while feeling rather glum. Fortunately we can have the funeral on Friday so that Dad can deal with all that fairly quickly. They have been together for 74 years, so he’s going to need lots of help.
John, I’m saddened to hear of the lost of your mother, even though expected as you said in an earlier posting to me. My condolences to your father and your entire family.
Thanks, Tim, that’s very kind of you.
And I always enjoy a banter with you, thanks.
Excellent…you got him while he was still agreeable! 🙂
Indeed! although nothing is ever quite what it seems…….there’s an element of story writing here.
Thanks very much.
Great picture !
Thanks so much Geert.
Now that’s a great portrait that would fit righ in to a Sherlock Holmes or Charles Dickens novel.
So great to see such an extraordinary face (and portrait)
An unusual face, yes, and quite a character.
Thanks very much.
That’s an absolutely brilliant portrait!
Thanks for a lovely comment, regards, John.
