A very informative image. In the more “developed” parts of the world the idea of mending a sauce pan would never occur to us. A reminder of how people get on in other places is never a bad idea. It took a few moments to realize his shop is little more than what we would use as a steel shelving unit, little more than a closet, yet he evidently makes a living in that small space, and with just a few tools. Good image. Thanks.
A great comment Steven. Life is tough out there for many. The opportunity to see this way of life on the street is one thing that makes India so interesting for me.
Love the tones in this…
Hi Helen, hope you are well, and thanks very much.
No waste!
Of necessity no doubt….thanks Laurie.

A wonderful scene, and a great choice to take most of the color out, it echoes all that metal.
Thank you, this one pleases me also.
I enjoy color photography when one has to look for the colors… it gives this image such depth.

To be honest, colour photography is a bit scary, so toning it down gives me some relief! thanks for your comment.
