Mossyard is a place that we visit every couple of weeks. There’s a small carpark at the end of the lane that meanders down through the farm and from there there are several small sandy bays that we visit along the shore path. On this walk the path encouraged us to pause and sample the blackberries, some of which were ripe for the picking and very sweet.
These rocks stand next to a rare geographic feature, a tombolo, which is a spit of sand that connects to an island. Our Sheltie loves to run across the sand here but he gets very anxious when he sees people swimming or wading in the sea. I guess he thinks they are in danger.
