The View North from Amber Fort

View North from Amber Fort

The wonderful light and some fascinating detail to be seen in this view from the Amber Fort in Jaipur. The road access; the Sagar Road, winds up the hill from below, and you pass many interesting architectural features including the Badrinath Temple that can be seen on the opposite hillside.

    • Thanks Arv, I couldn’t find the name of the lovely temple in the foreground. There were quite a few places on the road up there that I would have liked to stop and look around, but our guide was on a tight schedule!

      • The one that’s far away in pastel ochre is badrinath temple. I have made two post on this temple. The other one is jagat shiromani temple, it’s an amazing one. You’ll find post on my blog as well. You can locate them under heritage temple category on my blog. While you were visiting Jaipur so tight schedule is acceptable. you’ll probably laugh if I were to tell you that I m always short of time too. There’s so much to explore but there’s very less time. 🙂
