Fatepur Sikri is one fantastic gem.
Hi Victor, so you have been there as well and no doubt enjoyed the experience as much as we did.
Indeed!
John, very nice. I love the framing. The image has almost a biblical feeling about it – less the more modernly dressed individuals of course.
Thanks Tim. Fatepur Sikri was a fascinating place with tourists, mainly local, mixed in with worshippers, amongst that wonderful sandstone architecture. I wrote at the time that the scale of the buildings reminded me of late Renaissance paintings.
You’re welcome. No wonder it had that feeling for me. An eye to an eye.
It’s fascinating work…art, really, that goes into the construction of such places. Nicely rendered, John.
Hi Scott, and thanks old friend.
