Agra Taking a Tea Break

Agra Portrait 11 : Taking a Tea Break

I thought that I had a good sense of direction, but after a ‘circular’ walk through old Agra, we ended up miles from our hotel and had to catch an auto back. It was just wonderful!

The people and places were very photogenic in these narrow lanes. Here a chai seller supplies some regular customers at his shop. I suppose that most visitors only have eyes for the ‘main attraction’ in Agra which is a pity as there is so much more to see.

Two versions: reality against clarity. Which do you prefer?

  1. I rarely edit in colour nowadays, but for me..this is best in colour. A really wonderful photo.
There are two types of visitors to India John. Some hate it and some love it. I’m definitely with you in loving India. It can be depressing at times, but riding in an auto through the dusty streets of anywhere in India, particularly at dusk, is one of my favourite things ever!

    • Agreed, love it! There’s so much to see and photograph, sometimes I don’t know which way to turn! It would be really great after spending years going everywhichway, to stay and get to know the people in one locality.
