This is what memories are made of.
Riding on the footplate of one of the last surviving Indian Railways metre gauge Pacifics in 1997.
You have a great archive, John 🙂
Meter gauge trains are so rare now in India.
I just feel so fortunate to have visited this area at the end of metre gauge steam. Thanks Sreejith.
John, I can’t remember if I have said this before or not. You really should consider a book documenting your Indian adventures…
My intention was to put something together to go alongside my May exhibition (called The Road Less Travelled) but at the moment I still have the exhibition prints to edit and have no desire to do anything except sit here and sleep…… I hate feeling ill ……… Boo- hoo!
Maybe a stiff dram 😉 Really I do hope you feel better soon and I am excited for you because of your exhibition, there are few feelings to match seeing people looking at your own work hanging on the wall as I am sure you already know!
Thank you Andy, I draw much encourage the from your kind comments.
Best regards, John.
And so well deserved! Get well soon.
