A low December sun catches house fronts and silhouettes a figure crossing Millburn Street. I like how this viewpoint emphasises the curve of the road as it passes over the top of the hill which is not something you would ordinarily notice.
Nice sky effect too Robyn. MM 🍀
John, I really like the intensity of the light even with the flair on the car. The highlight in her hair is a nice capture. Is it me or is the picture slightly tilted to the left? If so, would lens correction address this?
Astigmatism affects quite a high percentage of WordPress users……
…..yes you are correct
Yes and yes.
Love the light in this one John.
Hi Stephen, and thanks very much.
Very nice, John…feels like I’ve been there.
A quiet corner, familiar perhaps for the low light and interesting sky, and taking the dogs for a walk is the same the world over.thanks very much Scot, I hope that the winter is pleasant where you are too.
And maybe the street, too, my friend…the comfort of the houses’ proximity…and yes, Winter is being gentle where I live with high temperatures in the mid to upper 70s. It’s hard to complain, even with missing the cold and snow. Have a good day, dear John.
….and you too, Scott….hmmm, in the 70s…..and it’s sleeting here.
Today I am giving a short talk at the camera club, and showing edited photos against what came out of the camera…then they will see that my snaps are pretty average….then I will be caught out….a fraud…..editing hides many a failure…..Ho, ho….!
But they already know about editing…so you’re just throwing back the curtain a little bit more…. 🙂
Meeting cancelled by snow…..so my final curtain delayed.
