It had been a foggy day and I’d been working in the Left Bank Gallery ’til four. As I headed home the mist was lifting so I zipped home for the camera, because I had seen the light.
That may have been mere observation or a metaphysical experience, either way: as I drove across St Mary Street; the smoke rising from that chimney, together with the last glow from down by the Church Hall, caught my eye.
So it would seem that my picture making is heading toward dark and brooding once again.
Dam it all……it is wintertime in Scotland…..so that’s the way it is.
