Past its Best

Past its Best

I came across this when I visited the sixth form college where I used to teach. It was probably going to find its way into a still life group for the art students and no doubt would prove to be an interesting challenge. As a musical instrument it was past its best, but none the less, it makes an ideal, if difficult, subject for a painting or a drawing exercise.
