As you can see, the 12th of October was a beautiful day with a stunning, clear autumn light. I was on my way to see my dear Mum and Dad, but had to stop both going and returning at the tiny village of Dundrennan where stands the remains of an abbey. In the coming days I hope to show an assortment of these images. I played around with the viewpoint and with the best way to present this particular shot. I don’t think the composition quite works but the sky was so good that I just had to use it.
