I love the quality of light at this time of the year and with dew on the grass, a low sun creating long shadows, and the colours of autumn; this scene of a few sheep, a tussocky meadow and some cranky old trees is transformed into an idyl of autumn.
This is superb!
Thanks, it certainly caught my eye, and the light was lovely.
Beautiful morning…is that a touch of frost on the grass? Wonderful….
I don’t get up early enough to catch the frost, Scott. Not at this time of year, but there was a heavy dew on the grass. It was one of those mornings that wherever you pointed the camera, there was a picture to be had.
I know you’re retired, John, but I think you might enjoy the results of setting the alarm for an earlier start once in a while…although this is a wonderful image…and it looks like that really was a perfect morning to be out there.
Yes, perfect and memorable.
….and I believe that the alarm needs new batteries…….
….as do I.
