Foggy Festering Farmer’s Field
The Autumn is here and last Saturday was a lovely murky morning when we set out to visit Threave Gardens. Misty days are very inviting and with camera at the ready, I stopped the car in places I wouldn’t normally, in order to take a few snaps.
I must point out that the ‘festering’ in the title refers not to the farmer, but to the discarded junk left to rot in the corner of the field.
This one really evokes a sense of place for me. I think it’s the detritus of humanity in the foreground that does it. Nice shot.
Hi, and thanks. Yes, most of the time you want to leave junk out of your pictures, but here itseems to add an extra dimension to the foggy field.
