Time Worn
Hmmm, I spoke yesterday about remembering those hot leather seats in my father’s car when I was a child. I think it’s likely that my father’s car would look like this today, if it were still around and it too would have shiny, split and worn leather seats. Those old style steering wheels could get baking hot to the touch after the car had been standing in the full sun for any length of time, and driving was done with as little contact as possible until the draught from the quarter lights had cooled things down.
