A beautiful winter light brings out the textures of sand and rock to give an almost three-dimensional quality to this coastal scene.
Beautiful image… we could feel the depth in this one…
Yes, Sreejith….and how strange the affect is.
Stunning. I wish I had your mad skills to process my Scotland pics. They seem so … ordinary … by comparison! This is gorgeous!
No Debi, your photos are never that……..never…….and your enthusiasm and interest is infectious.
Image processing is something that evolves because the way that I want to present my pictures gradually changes. Local area sharpening is one aspect, and sometimes blurring, together with some desaturation and brightness, and then some colour filtering when I’m in the mood. I have found that using Nik Software has changed my way of working. Best regards, John
It very much has a three dimensional feel to it, John…nice find.
Yes, thanks Scott, and it’s odd how different types and degrees of sharpening and blurring can produce that affect…..aided by the lovely light.
Seems that the light was very much in your favor with this one.
