Looking around you site randomly I came across this and find it compelling – I’m curious about the processing – it’s like you took something full of movement and dimension and then quieted it down and flattened it out like an old print – the opposite of the HDR effect most people want to go for with a scene like this. And it works so well. .
Framing the trees against the ocean has unusually worked despite the potential conflict between the movement of the waves and the static structure of the branches. This is perhaps not the way I might present this image now…..but it seems to work.
