Hi Mara, and thanks for your comment. This shot was taken just after midday on a Monday when you would expect people to be out and about at lunch time. Come to think about it, at 6am on a Sunday the only place you’d find me would be in bed!
Thanks very much LB. A close is a narrow passageway or right of way between buildings, and this one includes a flight of steps. They mostly have names that link them to former functions like markets or industry. Maybe they once made anchors hereabouts.
