Old Edinburgh
A visit to the Scottish capital early last year to collect some work from an exhibition that friend Simon had been showing at, and this was also an opportunity to do some street photography.
We found ourselves in a part of the town that was unfamiliar and this view point came as a bit of a surprise. It shows part of the Grassmarket and on the horizon is the impressive ivory towers of George Heriot’s School.
That’s Simon lurking on the right.
I can earnestly recommend Simon’s website where you will see examples of his photography projects including, Reading, At the Vets, and Street Photography. He also produces an interesting and varied range of photography Zines that you can purchase from the site.
Love Edinburgh, MM 🍀
Thanks MM, and it was good to go around with someone who knows the place really well.
Fortunately I am blessed that way too when staying in Auld Reekie. 🍀
Lovely capture – I was at this very spot last week!
Great to hear from you, and I hope you captured some great images.
Simon’s images are very good. Please extend my complements to him.
Thanks Tim….certainly will do.
Lovely image John, i’m loving the lead in to Simon with the guard rail 🙂

Mark
Hi Mark, and thanks….sometimes digging through the archives pays off!
I have literally thousands of images that I have not even looked at yet, its a shame really because I know I have a mountain of good images just sitting on file waiting to see the light of day! Maybe one day I will get round to them!
Cheers
Mark
I am enchanted! Someday maybe I’ll get there
I hope that you do….has some great galleries as well. Thanks LB.
