Lower Bridge of Tarff

Lower Bridge of Tarff

In contrast to yesterdays picture, this early Springtime view is only slightly less colourful that the actual scene with its neutral reed beds awaiting the first shoots of green to show that the world is waking again after the winter interregnum.

  1. So the softer looking grasses to the right and left of the bridge are reeds, too?
So much depth and color in this image, John. Love it!

    • Yes LB the reed beds cover a larger area just behind us in this view point where the Tarff Water meets the River Dee and there are tidal flats that are a haven for birds and other wildlife. Thanks again for your encouragement.
