Low Tide

Low Tide

An old boat lies on the banks of the River Dee at low tide. The small marina is just down river from the harbour and bridge at Kirkcudbright (pronounced Ker-coo-bree).

Kirkcudbright is known as the artist’s town and was much visited by Scottish artists during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries and now is the home to a thriving community for the arts and crafts.
