Overgrown

 

A place of mystery. The forest trees were denser here and the ground uneven as I pushed through the undergrowth and stepped over a broken-down wall. A cow followed me through until it reached the end of its tether, and then I was on my own on someone else’s property, but there was no sign of life, just that sound of the wind in the trees and the occasional rustle of a small animal or bird amongst the leaves on the ground…….and that sense of being watched……
