Reflections: Urr Water

 

The village of Palnackie lies beside the Waters of Urr and there is a tiny harbour here at about the limits of the tidal part of the river. Despite the low state of the tide, there’s a nice reflection in the still water, and the late afternoon sun is spotlighting a group of mature trees on the far bank. The textures in the exposed mud and the patterns of this mackerel sky are both enhanced by this three picture HDR which has turned a fairly average image into something with a crisp depth and interesting detail, and to be honest, I didn’t expect it to make such an attractive picture. I hope that you like it too……
