Kirkcudbright Harbour
On this stunningly beautiful evening of July 18th, our friends and neighbours, Faith and David, took us on an evening cruise down Kirkcudbright Bay (that’s Ker-coo-bree) where we watched the sun sink in the west as the wooded shore slowly slipped past.
Here is our point of departure which is the small marina just to the west of the harbour. The harbour wall in the distance is empty on this occasion, but we did meet several of the regular Kirkcudbright fishing boats returning with their catch, as we made our way up the bay.
Given how calm it looks I hope you weren’t sailing. Beautiful photo. MM 🌊
No, we quietly chugged along in a very gentle breeze….but still most enjoyable. Thanks MM.
Stunning vista. So sharp and wonderful reflections.
Thanks David….when the sun shines….can’t be beat.
Like a postcard, John…and what a sweet reflection.
Cheers Scott…..a blue sky makes all the difference.
