Sunset Copse
I came across this striking group of trees that have survived the felling of the surrounding conifers, close by the studio of Allan Wright who is a member of the Galloway Photographic Collective. The Collective website can be found here where you can find details of all the collective photographers as well as links to Allan’s website.
There is a sadness there, John…but a hint of industriousness, as well. Evocative image, sir….
Hi again, my friend………there is a sadness in the departing of the day….but there was beauty in this scene of felled trees, that often appears as a brutal scar on the landscape.
Thanks, Scott.
I am touched by your perspective, John…and you’re most welcome.
Lovely design screams mono to me also!
Thanks Lesley. I like the understated colour. Tried it in mono but the foreground would need work on it, otherwise it was very flat looking.
Oh, and I shall be posting another version of this in a couple of days…..
really lovely..tranquil
Thanks again, Helen. It’s amazing what a few filters will do, and another version of this coming up next week.
