Rain over the Loch

Rain over the Loch

If yesterday, May 17th, was a lovely bright springtime day, today has been the complete opposite with continuous heavy rain and a grey half-light from the heavy overcast.

So, as you see, smithiesshutter has been out recording the beautiful misty light at Carlingwark Loch, and now that he has a weather sealed OM-D, he can boldly go where no sane photographer would go.

But now smithy is sneezing since this photographer is not weather sealed…….

  1. Very nice John, I love the composition, the semi-circle created by the foreground matched by the semi-circle of the hill and the brighter part of the sky, also loving the grain and the textures of the reeds, leaves and rainfall on the water…I know its cold but I would love to be there right now, fishing and taking in the beautiful clear air and all that nature has to offer.
