This is the most southerly point on the mainland of Britain and we visited it on the 1st April when it was blowing a very cold easterly gale. This would have made a nice monochrome photo, but I thought that the sea colour was particularly striking despite it being a relatively grey day. It’s a real shame that we live at the other end of the country, because Cornwall is a county with a varied coastline to explore and it has many pretty harbours and villages to visit. While we were there, I met up with fellow blogger Lesley Treloar in Porthleven and we had an interesting chat about our experiences in India amongst other things. Lesley, very thoughtfully gave me a long list of wonderful places to visit in the area…..thanks very much, Lesley……and I shall be posting some photos from the lovely small harbour and village of Cadgwith in the days to come………click on Lesley’s name to visit her blog, it’s well worth seeing.
