Chalakudy River
The Chalakudy River rises in the Anamalai Hills in Tamil Nadu and then flows westwards through Kerala, where it’s that states fourth longest river. It runs through forested hills and for fish diversity, is the riches in India, with areas of riverside flora that are of special interest. There are famous waterfalls at Athirappilly and Vazhachal, photos of which will be posted in the coming days.
Very nice image, John…and that looks like a pleasant place to read a book…or just be…..
Thanks, Scott….and yes it would have been a very pleasant place to sit a read a book or eat an ice cream, but when you’re in foreign parts there’s always something else around the next corner…so no time to stand and stare…
You’re welcome…and I do understand that…no sitting around in new places with so much to see….well done. 🙂
