Chinese Fishing Nets
It’s amazing how a sunset brings out the photographers. It was quite crowded at the best viewpoints with everyone getting in the way. ……..and some photographers can be very pushy. A lady with a very big SLR was moving people around and was being followed by her admirers who were spoiling the view. Perhaps she was a little inconsiderate……or maybe I was a little jealous…… LOL
Maybe she just picked up doing it the Indian way 😉 … encroach, encroach, encroach. Oh my, did I end up here? Well, good for me 😛
It’s all a part of the fun, though……and I had time to stand and stare.
That’s always the best way to deal with things 🙂
This reminds me of a time in Cordoba when I tucked myself out of the way in a quiet corner to photograph the sunrise over the Roman bridge. Having a tripod set up seems to make people think you know what you’re doing 🙂 and I was soon surrounded by dozens of people with point and shoots. They didn’t strike me as keen photographers so goodness knows what they were doing up and about at that time!
Some of us point-and-shooters know that one has to get up early to capture some damn-fine sunrises…whether we’re keen photographers or not……… 😉
OK – I consider myself admonished 🙂 Note to self: Don’t jump to wrong conclusions!
🙂
🙂
Whatever you were, this photo is stunning!!
Hi LB and thanks very much.
I don’t have a tripod to get in your way, John, but I would love to have been there next to you. What a beautiful photograph you’ve made…..
It’s funny but I took a small tripod with me to India and I used it only once……and next time I go I’ll let you know and we could stand and snap the sunset…….and get in each others way… 🙂
I’ll look forward to that, John…we’ll have a great time. 🙂
