Were in Argyle on the west coast of Scotland. This view looking north across Cuan Sound takes in the Island of Seil and in the distance is the small coastal community of Ellenabeich. In the far distance can be glimpsed the hills on the Isle of Mull.

Beautiful composition
Hi Ravi, and thank you.
Once again a beautiful photograph :). You are very inspiring.
Thank you Pooja, it is an inspiring landscape in which to work.
absolutely gorgeous toning.. terrific shot John
Just too kind my friend….but thanks.
Lovely shot – great composition, colour toning ….. and love those clouds 🙂
Is it HDR? If not, then it must be a relatively diffuse light – although those don’t look like diffuse light clouds!
Thanks Noeline, it’s a single exposure…. I prepared it several weeks ago…I may have, tone mapped it, though I don’t think so…and I’m afraid I can’t remember….
I like the sepia, John…gives it a feel of real age, while the fresh clouds make it appear so new…what a nice mix of effects.
Hadn’t thought of it like that, but you’re right, Scott….ancient and immediate…
