Station Roof

Station Roof

Another industrial artifact, and another replica. The glazed roof over the circulation area between the station and the platforms at Kidderminster on the Severn Valley Railway in Worcestershire. The station buildings are based on a style to be found on the Great Western Railway and in particular the building at Ross-on-Wye in Herefordshire. The railway is volunteer run and has many fine steam locomotives. Tomorrow look out for a painting of one of their steam engines.
