English Landscape

The gently rolling landscape above Earby on the border between Lancashire and Yorkshire, just south of the Yorkshire Dales National Park is archetypal English landscape with its neatly enclosed field patterns with tree lined field boundaries and patches of woodland. An early summer view when the hedgerows are fully of flowers and the greens are at their freshest. A reminder on midwinter day that the world will spring back to life again in due course.
