Fishing in the Harbour

When I selected yesterday’s post of Ardglass I used this picture to identify where the boat was registered. When I had a closer look at this photo it seems that I have blundered. This boat is the ‘Olive Branch’ and though registered at Ballantrae, it is based at Kirkcudbright. So there we are. Come to smithiesshutter for doubtful information.

Visitors and locals alike can be seen fishing on the harbour wall and the usual catch is crabs, albeit very small crabs, though I have a photo of someone holding up a small shark shaped beastie……would that be a catfish? As you can tell I don’t idle my time on the river bank….it’s usually the computer where hours slip by.
