Twittering Leaves

This picture has been around for a long time. I remember taking it because of the way the leaves seemed to glow in the gloom under the trees. Also I loved the way that they occupied the space; the way they fluttered and moved, and this defined their spacial form. Now that I’ve moved on in my photography this triptych configuration has begun to resolve how I feel about the subject. They act a bit like spacial lenses. This type of woodland subject matter is always difficult. We see things in 3D, and with stereo vision it often looks magical. Take a photo, and it usually looks chaotic and confusing………..mind you, I have experimented with stereo pairs……..  I hope that you appreciate all the mind boggling thought that goes into this blog…………never mind the pictures………..it’s the thought that counts……
