Country Garden
An Autumn garden in the lovely West Sussex village of Amberley. The village nestles comfortably under the South Downs and is one of those enchanting English villages with thatched, brick and flint cottages clustered along narrow country lanes. An arrangement that provides interest at every turn with lovely groupings of the kind that town planners might aspire to, but rarely reproduce. This view was taken on a perfect October 4th morning eleven days ago.
The morning light playing against the shadows and colors is really nice.
Agreed, the light….and the garden is just beautiful….thanks
HDR does suit and bring out the textures of the foliage
It certainly does Lesley, but sometimes I crave for real shadows….real blown out highlights…..and real ‘thin’ images…..isn’t technology wonderful, it removes the need for artistry….and deviousness in photoshop…LOL!
Like a full plate at Thanksgiving, John…such a treat for the eyes…beautiful.
Indeed, like something out of a Victorian watercolour.
Very much so.
