The beautiful evanescent light of a summer’s evening illuminates the landscape of the Dee Valley. Threave Castle, standing in majestic isolation on it’s island as it has done for the past seven hundred years.
Don’t think I’d like to hang about there at night, it’s a long walk back to the car park, though last time I was there a guy was waiting to lead a bat watch as darkness was falling.
Wonder if the castle is haunted and its ghosts walk the banks of the River Dee at night…
