“Lovely Evening, My Dear……”
The ‘King and Queen’ by sculptor Henry Moore seem to be enjoying the evening sunshine, and so they should, they have a beautiful viewpoint looking down on Glenkiln Reservoir. This piece by Moore was purchased by Sir William Keswick for the Glenkiln Estate in about 1953, and is one of a number of fabulous pieces to adorn the landscape at Shawhead near Dumfries, Scotland.
Brilliant
