Footbridge

Crossing the Water of Ken, this small suspension bridge stands at the western edge of the village of Dalry, or to give it its full name, St John’s Town of Dalry. The bridge takes the long distance path, the Southern Uplands Way on its route westwards towards Clatteringshaws Loch and through some beautiful upland walking in the hills of the Galloway Forest Park.

Yesterday evening was an unexpectedly glorious sunlit end to the day and some members of the Glenkens Photography Group came together in Dalry for some enjoyment with camera and tripod. This was one of a number of HDR sets taken on that visit.
