Castle Stalker
We are on the West Coast of Scotland on Loch Laiche off Loch Linnhe, near Port Apin in Argyle. Castle Stalker is privately owned, and one of the best preserved tower-houses in the West of Scotland. It was built in the 1440s on a site built originally in 1320 and belonged to the MacDougals, Lords of Lorn, and what a spectacular location it is, set against Creach Bheinn and the beautiful coastline of Western Scotland.
Beautiful, John…and they don’t have to worry about loud or nosy neighbors out there, either. What a place to call home….
Yes, but you can only get the groceries at low tide……
That would be a concern…no running out on a whim to pick-up something….
