A view of the yard and water tank of the Pichi Richi Railway at Quorn, South Australia. This is the oldest remaining section of the famous narrow-gauge Ghan railway and is located in the Flinders Ranges. This was the best I could do to show the clarity of light in this part of the world and was posted after seeing some fabulous images on Leanne Cole’s blog. She can be found here http://leannecolephotography.com/
The sky is a strong blue virtually down to the horizon, demonstrating the clean and fairly dry air in Australia. See Leanne’s ‘Woomelang’ post from July 8 for a nice example.
Nice shot! 🙂
I thank you Roas.
