Hill Top Shrine

The previous post ‘Hampi Evening Light’ was taken from where the figures are standing on the right. This shrine is part of the remote Malyavanta Raghunath Temple and is a popular sunset viewpoint for those visiting the Vijayanaga site at Hampi, Karnataka, India.

    • Amazing….. absolutely. While we were there the monks were playing football in the courtyard of the main temple behind us….. and the view as you will have seen from the previous post is also amazing.

  1. What a place to build a temple…if it wasn’t a magical place before they started building it, I can imagine that it would be when they were finished. Amazing creation…beautiful photo.
