Village Tree

Strangely deserted in this view, a large tree like this can become a meeting place or provide much needed shade in a corner of a village.

Hampi, heart of the old Vijyanagara Empire, Karnataka, India, and a World Heritage Site.

      • You are a talented photographer and I don’t think you could limit your topic. How could any photographer who sees and feels find himself by the seaside or in India and not find images at every turn. I find myself somewhat landlocked these days and I shoot what is available and stimulating. Send me to the Irish or Scottish sea and watch what I find. Send me to Vietnam and my photos would be of people, food, jungles, and things simple. I think your work is magnificent.
