Woodland Walk
Another view from the photo-shoot in Takamatsu. The Ritsurin Gardens cover a large area with lakes and traditional tea houses together with formal gardens, and are stunning at all times of the year, but particularly when the cherry blossom comes out. When this happens in Takamatsu it’s the signal for the whole of Japan that spring has arrived.
It took a couple of hours that morning for our friends to dress in family kimonos, and don’t they look fine, and it took me several journeys into the city to find the traditional paper umbrellas to complete the ensemble. They ladies were much admired and photographed by other visitors to the gardens.
stunning!
Another knock-out comment……
🙂
