Winter Landscape
I have driven past the end of this road many times and have always thought it to be a highly enticing piece of landscape. It’s part of the Old Military Road that traverses Kirkcudbrightshire. The view that eventually persuaded me to turn off the A75 was not in fact achievable without a helicopter or a tall tree, but further into the hills I stopped by this vista on one snowy afternoon.
I love the way the tree line leads your eyes right through the scene and the hint of colour coming through from the moss and the grass makes you remember this is a colour image and not monochrome, great job, well done 🙂
Thanks Mark. It’s one of those picture files that are so easy to overlook when you’re sorted the sheep from the goats.
nice compo.
Thanks Brek.
Like the way the colour leads your eye to the tree in the middle ground. Very nice composition.
Thanks Richard.
