Carlingwark Loch
I’m sure that you can tell that I like views of the winter landscape. Carlingwark Loch has an interesting history which includes crannogs. A crannog is a type of ancient loch-dwelling found throughout Scotland and Ireland dating from 5,000 years ago. Many crannogs were built out in the water as defensive homesteads.
Carlingwark Loch can be found at Castle Douglas, Scotland.
